How Do I Use an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) with Leap?

You can use any IDE, either local or cloud-based, that implements the Development Containers specification (aka "devcontainers") to develop quantum applications and submit problems to Leap solvers. D-Wave recommends GitHub Codespaces; you could also use a local IDE (for example, VS Code).
In your IDE, you must authorize Ocean access to your Leap account and store your solver API token, which is required to submit problems to Leap solvers. To get quickly started with GitHub Codespaces and Leap, see How Do I Get Started with GitHub Codespaces. For detailed information, see Leap Support for IDEs.
