Leap and the D-Wave Quantum Computer

Through Leap, you have a secure connection to a D-Wave quantum computer.

Any problems you submit to system, regardless of whether they are demos running through the Leap website or problems that you send using the Ocean cloud-client, go through the Solver API (SAPI). SAPI is the front-end to the quantum processing unit (QPU) and other solvers, and it is responsible for scheduling your problem.

The QPU is a shared resource that processes problems in milliseconds. Depending on system usage and your network, you typically receive answers back within seconds.
