The Leap Service and D-Wave Quantum Computers

Through the Leap™ service, you have a secure connection to D-Wave™ quantum computers and hybrid solvers over the internet.

Any problems you submit to system, regardless of whether they are demos running through the Leap website or problems that you send using the Ocean™ cloud-client, go through the Solver API (SAPI). SAPI is the front-end to the quantum processing units (QPUs) and other solvers, and it is responsible for scheduling your problem.

QPUs are shared resources that process problems in milliseconds. Depending on system usage and your network, you typically receive answers back within seconds.
