Benchmarks

One of the greatest catalysts for the mass iterative research in the field of deep learning was the availability of the imagenet dataset, which I think was the first public resource of sufficient scale and complexity that researchers could compare and evaluate results. I am curious if there is any kind of public benchmarking resources or competitions being applied in the field of quantum computing that could drive similar progress.
