About D-wave CQM hybrid solver

Hello, I used D-Wave CQM solver to solve some problems, but I have some doubts, I want to know what kind of minor-embedding I used when I used this solver? There are details such as strand breaks, how much annealing time is used (is it QPU_access time)? What is the time on CPU/GPU?

I look forward to hearing from you.

  • Hello,

The QPU Access Time is the time to execute a single quantum machine instruction on a QPU. It's the sum of the programming time plus the anneal read cycles, more information is available here: https://docs.dwavesys.com/docs/latest/c_qpu_timing.html#qpu-access-time

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide any additional information on the proprietary HSS (Hybrid Solver Service) other than the public information available in the D-Wave Hybrid Solver Service: An Overview white paper and the HSS section of the Ocean Docs.

The publicly available documents do not provide in-depth detail and we are unable to reveal additional details such as algorithms used, hardware used, calculations performed classically vs calculations performed on the QPU or details about embedding.

    Thank you for your understanding.
