MathJax or Latex?

Is there MathJax or Latex functionality for the forums? I saw a reference to MathJax in the documentation, but I have not seen it work here in the forums.

  • Thomas,

Have you used eqn, pic, & tbl, and how do they compare with LaTex for producing equations, diagrams, & tables?

I want to make a pretty electronic version of a "cheat sheet" with annotated QUBO matrix, solution vector, objective function, etc that I drew with pencil and paper while studying white papers and qbsolv.

Mathematica is another possibility, but it isn't cheap.

  • It has been decades since I have worked with troff.

I like to use MathJax for anything that might end up as a web page, and prefer LaTex to MathML or AsciiMath. Some content systems (like Wordpress) support LaTex plugins.

If you want to make a cheat sheet, I recommend making it an HTML document and using the MathJax library.

  • Doing it in HTML is a great idea!  It hadn't even occurred to me.  Thanks!

  • Hello Thomas,

The community does not currently support MathJax or Latex. It is an interesting idea, though. I will leave this post up to accumulate votes and log the suggestion for our developers.
