Is DWave Still Providing Monthly Free Solver Time for Trial Accounts?

I used DWave Leap a couple of years ago to experiment with small MILP/optimization problems using their cloud quantum and hybrid solvers. At that time, my trial account provided free solver time that was replenished each month, and I was able to use an token key to submit my own problems.

But, over the past three months, I’ve noticed that my trial replenishment date keeps getting pushed forward each month, and I’m not receiving any new trialaccess token.

I wanted to check with the D-Wave community:

- Is the monthly free solver time still available for existing Trial Plan accounts?

- Has the Trial Plan or its renewal policy changed recently?

- If the free monthly access is still supposed to be available, why might the renewal date keep shifting without providing any token key?

API tokens are not available for self sign-up accounts, but they are available to approved Leap Quantum LaunchPad™ applications.

As of January 22, 2025, users with self sign-up Developer accounts can run some demos, access the Leap dashboard, and access D-Wave's comprehensive collection of solutions. However, Developers do not have API token access which is needed to submit custom jobs to the quantum and hybrid solvers.

The Leap Quantum LaunchPad™ program, where approved applications receive 3-months of trial Leap access, access to D-Wave’s comprehensive collection of solutions and expert project support, apply here: https://www.dwavequantum.com/quantum-launchpad

The Leap Quantum LaunchPad program is an exclusive trial, and not all submissions will be accepted. The application review can take up to 10 business days.
